I really enjoy English comedies whether it is the accents or the use of words that are not that commonly used–here in the US.
As I was leaving the post office recently, I noticed a handwritten sign that simply stated “Rubbish Removal.” I laughed out loud as I remembered those English comedians responding to an insane comment, “That is rubbish!!!”
That is what the recovery or personal development is all about, getting rid of the junk, lies, or rubbish from our minds! “We must continually ask ourselves am I believing the truth or just a bunch of rubbish” This question must be asked with awareness as our minds are full of denial, excuses, and rationalizations.
